High-speed electric linear actuators: 1000 mm/s, 20,000 mm/s² (2 g), 500–2,000 kg load, ±0.05 mm repeatability, 700 mm stroke. Ball-screw drive on industrial AC servo motors, sold standalone for OEM platforms and test equipment.

G-Control. The software that moves before the picture does.

Sixteen years of motion-control code. G-Control reads telemetry, predicts the next frame with AI and commands the platform ahead of the visual — so what you feel and what you see arrive together. One application drives every kinematics we build, from a two-axis base to a full six-axis hexapod, on our own multi-axis controllers.

Predictive AI cueing

The model looks ahead of the telemetry stream and starts the platform before the frame is rendered. Zero perceived lag, no motion sickness — the delay that breaks immersion on reactive systems is gone.

Our own controllers and drives

Gmotion multi-axis controllers and BLDC servo drives close the loop on every axis: synchronised motion profiles, sub-millimetre positioning, current limiting and safety limits configured per project on one firmware family.

Any interface, any hardware

UDP, COM, CAN and custom binary protocols. Drives third-party actuators as readily as ours. 125+ simulation titles supported out of the box, plus an SDK and telemetry adapters for proprietary trainers.

Engineering-grade tuning

Washout filters, per-axis gains, limit curves and a 9×6 mix matrix are exposed to the operator. Tune the feel for the venue, the pilot or the experiment — no firmware flashing.

FAQ

Questions engineers ask us.

What is the difference between 2DOF, 3DOF and 6DOF motion platforms?

DOF means degrees of freedom. A 2DOF platform moves in pitch and roll; 3DOF adds heave (vertical travel); 6DOF adds yaw, surge and sway — full six-axis motion on a Stewart hexapod. Choose 2DOF or 3DOF for cost- and footprint-sensitive cabins, 6DOF for flight training devices, vehicle trainers, driver-in-the-loop rigs and research where sustained cues in every axis matter.

Are Gmotion motion platforms hydraulic or electric?

Electric only. Six-axis platforms run on Gmotion ball-screw linear actuators or servo gear-motors; 2DOF and 3DOF bases use servo actuators. Power is 220 V single-phase up to the 1,000 kg class and 380 V three-phase above. No hydraulics, no compressor room, no oil.

Can I buy actuators or motor controllers without a platform?

Yes. Electric linear actuators (500, 1,000 and 2,000 kg load classes), multi-axis motion controllers, BLDC servo drives and encoders are sold as standalone OEM components with drawings, interface documentation and integration support.

What payloads and lead times does Gmotion offer?

Stock modules cover 100 kg to 2,000 kg and ship in 4–10 weeks. Custom builds have been delivered up to 15,000 kg, typically in 8–14 weeks. Drawings and a payload-specific motion envelope are issued before you sign.

Does G-Control work with third-party motion hardware?

Yes. G-Control is available as a standalone licence and communicates over UDP, COM, CAN and custom binary protocols, so it can drive existing actuators and controllers as well as Gmotion hardware. It supports 125+ simulation titles and provides an SDK for proprietary trainers.

Where is Gmotion located and where does it ship?

Headquarters and production are in California, USA, with an engineering office in Ukraine (EU time zone). More than 800 motion systems have shipped to over 25 countries since 2010.
